About Me

My name is Jodi Murphy and I am a qualified Children's Yoga teacher, Relax Kids & Charge Up coach, NLP and Hypnotherapy practitioner and Mindful Hypnobirthing practitioner. 

I am a mum of five and I have a background in supporting vulnerable groups. After being diagnosed many years ago with anxiety and experiencing the emotional distress that it causes, I became interested in finding holistic tools to support my emotional well being and improve my mental heath, including NLP, self hypnosis, mindfulness, meditation and yoga. In doing so I also became more aware of the mental health crisis that our young people are facing in the UK today and I felt compelled to train with some of the best providers in the UK to develop a range of services to help people in my community.

Today I support hundreds of children across the East Midlands in community classes, schools, nurseries and one to ones as well as running hypnobirthing workshops for mums-to-be and their birthing partners and adult relaxation classes.

I take professional development seriously and I am consistently building upon my knowledge by investing in ongoing CPD. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced portable DBS and a current paediatric first aid certificate.

Our Mission

Yogatails is on a mission to bring yoga and Relax Kids Classes to as many children in schools, nurseries, community classes and family workshops in the East Midlands as possible. Yogatails classes are educational, inspiring and are very much about developing the whole child both mentally and physically in a safe and nurturing environment- but most of all they are a lot of fun!

School and nursery classes can also be designed to support curriculum learning within any current themes.

Enhancing Physical Wellness

Yoga is a great way to improve  a child's endurance in other physical activities, helping them maintain stamina and flexibility as they grow. Yoga helps the body relax while stretching, strengthening and lengthening the muscles. Children will also learn about their anatomy, learn how posture can affect their mood and develop spatial awareness through our fun, informative and interactive classes.


Calming Busy Young Minds

Yoga not only helps improve the body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. These concepts are gently introduced through baby yoga nidra, guided relaxation and breathing exercises. Children learn about the mind body connection and how to use these techniques to help them deal with the stresses and anxieties they may experience in their day to day lives, improving their focus, resilience, mental wellbeing, self esteem and respect for themselves and others.
